The project was handled with an approach that responds to today's needs, without trying to imitate the 'formal' features of traditional architecture, but by grasping the essence of the heritage of knowledge transferred over the centuries, using contemporary understandings and techniques in the context of 'meaning'.
Solutions such as the use of sub-dwelling shops, connecting shops with arcades, squares and bazaars can be evaluated in the context of our traditional understanding of urbanism.
It has a façade setup that is animated with stepped blocks, bay windows and open overhangs in order to match the street texture and scale. The variable material setup on the facades, by using traditional reference materials such as brick and wood in different colors and textures, broke the monotonous effect on the facade and ensured the separation of the facades.
Project, It has been handled at 2 different levels, namely the street level where there is commercial activity and the quiet garden level isolated from vehicle traffic. Although it is not built with the logic of a closed site, it provides privacy for the residents since there is no transition from the street to the garden side due to the level difference. The blocks have entrances both from the street level where the commercial units are located and from the garden side. Continuing the neighborhood culture and socializing the residents The common use areas that allow for this are planned as closed social areas and children's playgrounds under the block at the garden level.
In order to provide pedestrian flow from the main street to the street and to revitalize the area, commercial units are planned to be built on the ground floors along the street. This will also create an attraction for the residents of the neighborhood and make an economic contribution to the region. Small squares were created in order to eliminate the monotony of this axis, which forms the main pedestrian structure, to create a richness of space and to increase the commercial use front. These areas will be the meeting place of the people of the neighborhood and will contribute to the living of the neighborhood culture.
The project has a total construction area of 54,830 m² on a 14,488 m² land. It consists of 9 residential blocks and 1 commercial block. In the project, 277 residences, including 217 2+1 flats and 60 3+1 flats, have 35 flats. There are a number of shops. It has a green area of 10,525 m². There is a 3-storey car park structure under the blocks and the garden. A total of 380 car parks are planned, of which 329 are closed and 51 are open.
Block entrances, backyard exits, entrances from the parking lot to the blocks, landscaping areas, All areas where pedestrians roam are arranged to be accessible for the disabled. A sufficient number of indoor and outdoor disabled car parks are located close to the block entrances.
Landscape design made in open spaces in the middle of the blocks, isolated from vehicle traffic, sitting areas, sports fields and playgrounds It offers recreational activity areas to users of all ages.
